The Industrial Maintenance Planner is responsible for organizing and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of plant equipment and systems. This role focuses on creating and managing preventive maintenance plans, maintaining inventory for spare parts, and ensuring all work complies with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for plant equipment.
- Input maintenance routines for equipment wear components into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Organize and manage the inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for all planned work.
- Set up auto-reordering in the CMMS to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Generate and distribute detailed work orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve maintenance effectiveness.
- Lead planning efforts for major equipment outages and ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Production Leader to schedule maintenance during optimal production windows.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues to inform planning for future maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience using a CMMS or related systems for maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on the production floor to gather information and understand equipment operation.
- Technical and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance-related challenges.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in industrial maintenance or production operations.
- Experience with high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and spare parts management.
